The MedPath Medical Olympiad is the most comprehensive academic competition in pre-medical education. Designed for high school and undergraduate students, the Olympiad tests knowledge across clinical reasoning, gross anatomy, and human physiology through three rigorously designed rounds.
Open to participants from every country, the Olympiad produces national and international rankings for all registered participants โ not just finalists. Whether you place first or fortieth, you receive an official ranking, certificate, and performance breakdown.
Teams of 2โ4 may register together, or individuals may register solo and compete in the individual track.
90-minute online exam. Case-based MCQs and short-answer questions covering differential diagnosis and clinical decision-making.
Image-based and structured response examination covering gross anatomy, radiological anatomy, and histology. Top 40% of Round 1 advance.
Championship round: advanced physiology problem-solving, data interpretation, and an oral defense for top 15 finalists. Live-judged by medical faculty.
First place team and individual. Medal, trophy, and official certificate.
Second place with medal and commendation certificate.
Third place with medal and commendation certificate.
Every participant receives an official national ranking certificate.
Top scorer in each subject area receives a specialist recognition award.
All participants receive a global percentile ranking across all countries.
